Golf Professional Jonti Phillipson, has trained hundreds of up-and-coming golfers including two current professionals and he has this to say about Liam; “without a shadow of a doubt the most talented golfer in the district”. He believes that it is Liam’s incredible work ethic that makes the difference and that he has what it takes to succeed. Liam is currently a Marlborough and Tasman Rep Player (his current handicap puts him in the top 2% of NZ), is the Head Boy of Marlborough Boys College and in his non-existent spare time he is a volunteer coach! In 2023 Liam would like to gain a golf scholarship to a US College and ultimately would like to compete on the PGA Tour and represent New Zealand at the Olympics.
