Phoebe is 16 years old and has been rowing since she was 14. She won gold in the U17 Girls double Scull at NZ Secondary Schools Championships in 2018 was placed 2nd in the u18 Junior single scull. She won Gold and the 2017 NZ Champs in the coxless 4 and was one of two girls her age to be selected for trials for the U19 women’s rowing team. Her aim is to win Gold in the Senior Single Scull at National Championships this year, win Gold in U18 single Scull at NZ Secondary School Championships, Gold in the U18 double, Gold in the U18 pair and to be selected for the New Zealand Junior team in 2019. She also has her sights firmly set on future Olympics.
