Rosie has loved performance for as long as she can remember and cannot imagine doing anything else. She was the leading soprano for Marlborough Girls College Ovation with solos in 2020 and 2021. Along with being accepted into the New Zealand Secondary Schools Choir in 2020, where she received membership for the 2021/2022 choir as a Soprano, she also won Best Duet, Best Sacred Solo and Best Female Soloist at the MPAC competition. She has also been awarded the Bill Horrocks Trophy for Most Outstanding Vocalist (2020). This year she wishes to participate again in the NZ Secondary Schools competition and take part in the international tour scheduled for 2022. NZSSC is seen as a stepping stone to the New Zealand Youth Choir and Voices NZ. Her ultimate dream is to be part of an opera company and have a successful career as a classical singer after completing a double degree in Bachelor of Music and Science specialising in classical performance.
