Since a very young age Shannon has had a passion to make positive change in the community and help the environment, Leadership is something she models. She is involved in Volunteer Marlborough, where she created and lead the Climate Youth Action Team. She is also head of the Student council and MGC and is a part of the prefect team creating programmes to teach life skills. She was chosen for the Youth on Boards programme for Volunteer Marlborough, learning governance and leadership skills. Shannon has been chosen to on the United Nations Global Development Tour as one of New Zealand’s representatives. One of her goals is to run a social enterprise, which gives back to causes that need funds to make change.
