Ethan began cycling 10 years ago and swiftly progressed into development teams here and in Europe. He was the Champion U23 in the tour of Southland this year, finishing 1st for King of the Mountain Jersey and 7th overall. He also won his first European race in a stage of Vysocina in the Czech Republic. He has been selected to represent New Zealand at the U23 World Road Championships in Yorkshire on 27th September this year. Ethan wants to continue to develop himself on the European racing scene and become a ‘super domestique’ helping the best win the biggest races like Tour de France and the Olympics
Testimonial quote: Graham Henderson – President Cycling Marlborough.
I have watched Ethan come up through the junior ranks and establish himself as one of the top U23 riders in the country. Quiet and unassuming Ethan has always gone about his business in a quiet and professional way. His dedication to his training has seen him achieve his goals thought the years. He has been an inspiration to our younger riders and has the respect of his older adversaries.
