Kodi started paying piano at 11 and while at college was introduced to music composing software. Composing is something he is passionate about and has competed in the Brass Band National and Regional contests and in the regional Southern Jam Jazz Festival where he performed one of his compositions. He will also be entering one of his orchestral compositions into the NZSO Young Composer's Competition. His aim is to do a double degree in music and composition and be playing in orchestra’s all over the world.
