Lucy has already broken records. In 2016 she broke the U17, U18 and U19 200m records at the New Zealand Track and Field Championships when she was just 16. In 2017 she won the U20 200m at the Australian Championships and then broke the senior 200m meet record at the New Zealand Secondary School Championships in the same year. Her current focus is the World Junior Championships in July this year and she is aiming to qualify for the 2019 World University Games where she plans to break more records. She also has the 2020 Tokyo Olympics firmly in her sights.
