Since he was a small kid Sam has been honing his passion and talent for the Performing Arts and Theatre. Now, aged 20, his listof achievements is very impressive. Most recently Sam co-founded The Awkward Theatre Company and produced, co-directed, co-wrote and starred in a sold-out Wellington Fringe Festival show “Death and Cereal”. In 2019 Sam was selected, (from 5000 students throughout NZ), to go to the National Shakespeare School Production. From there he was one of 24 students chosen for the NZ Young Shakespeare Company to study and perform at the Globe Theatre this July. Here he will work with London’s leading Theatre Practitioners, Tutors and Directors – an absolutely amazing opportunity. Sam’s teachers and mentors describe him as someone with passion and a gift for acting and directing, who displays respect, integrity, creativity and vision, a focused leader and team player who gives his assistance willingly to support others. He has worked tirelessly to achieve at a high level. Ultimately Sam wants to be acting, directing and producing plays in London – watch this space!
