Sam is 15 years old and has been dancing for a total of seven years, doing different styles such as jazz, acro and Hip Hop. Hip Hop is the main style she puts all her focus on and has been doing for six years. She teaches and dances at MAD (Marlborough Academy of Dance) competing around New Zealand in troupes, duos and as a solo. With MAD she competes around eight times a year in Wellington, Blenheim, Nelson and Christchurch.

Last year was her first year teaching both hip hop and acro and she has continued with this in 2024, with the addition of choreographing competition routines like solos for MAD students. At the end of last year Sam was chosen to be the lead as Cinderella in the show 'If the Shoe Fits'. This was a very big opportunity for her to dance different styles on stage as well as act throughout the show.
